Kids Kung Fu Class

Our Children's Kung Fu class is designed for ages 5 to 12. In this class, children learn far more than martial arts — they develop respect, discipline, self-control, and mindfulness in a structured, fun, and encouraging environment. We strive to build each child's self-confidence and self-esteem through authentic Shaolin Kung Fu training.

Every class begins with warm-ups and dynamic exercises including kicks, punches, and strikes, followed by stretching — a critical ingredient in good Kung Fu practice that is woven into every session to progressively improve flexibility and ensure safe training.

The main focus of each class is on traditional Shaolin forms or weapons, depending on the student's level. Each form or weapon is practiced for months until genuine proficiency is achieved. A reasonable level of mastery is required before advancing — preparing the student thoughtfully for each new challenge in our belt ranking system.

Adults & Teens
Kung Fu Class

Our Adults & Teens class welcomes students aged 13 and over at any level — complete beginners and seasoned martial artists train side by side. The class is conducted in an upbeat and friendly manner where each individual progresses at their own pace, physically and mentally challenged at their own level regardless of fitness or prior experience.

The adult curriculum begins with open-handed Shaolin forms and foundational self-defense techniques. As students become proficient, they advance to more complex movement and traditional weapons — staff, broadsword, straight sword, and spear. Each student is continually presented with new challenges that push their physical limits while deepening their self-awareness.

We also place a strong emphasis on mental training — learning to let the mind guide the body with precision and intention. Through persistent, disciplined work, students achieve mastery over forms of increasing intensity and, ultimately, over themselves.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi at Shaolin Warrior is offered at two levels — Beginner and Advanced — welcoming students of all ages and backgrounds. Rooted in the same living tradition as our Shaolin curriculum, Tai Chi training develops the whole person: improving physical health through better flexibility, balance, coordination, and core strength, while cultivating mental clarity, focus, and inner calm through breath and movement.

For those who want to take their practice further, our Tai Chi program also opens the door to competitive Taijiquan. Students on the competition track train toward IWUF-sanctioned events including State and National Competitions, the World Taijiquan Championships, and the Youth Olympic Development Pathway — bringing the discipline of traditional practice to international stages.
